    Hi,

    Note Windows 2000 and Windows 2000 Professional can only be upgraded to Windows XP Professional. You cannot upgrade Windows 2000 to Windows XP Home.

    Depends on what you mean by "upgrade".  There are different requirements for the two systems.  Your may or may not have the requirements for XP.  We could tell you more if we knew your system specs.

    What Troubleshooting have you done thus far?

    Have you searched in Event Viewer?

    Any Error messages?

    Please provide MORE details re your current problem.
