I have a Toshiba Satellite C655 running Windows 7. I disabled my touch pad but now want to enable it. I have a USB Logitech mouse. I found the answer to disable it - but can't find an answer on how to re-enable it again.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Thank you for taking the time to answer! Maybe it's because it's Toshiba, but it didn't work for me.
But I did solve it, and this may help others.........on the Task Bar (though it's hidden on mine), there is an icon called ELAN pointing device. I "right-clicked) & it gave 2 options...I chose "Property of Touch Pad". That took me (by a short-cut) to Mouse Properties on the Control Panel. On the touch pad tab (Elan in my case) about halfway down there is a box. When checked, the touch pad is disabled. When left unchecked, the touch pad is enabled!
But Cameron still deserves Kudos!

It was making me NUTS, cause I use a mouse, and my thumb rests ON the touchpad, so it was constantly moving the cursor, resizing text, causing me to curse, crazy-making. Here's my solution...
I have Windows 10, here's how I did it.
To disable/enable touchpad:
Go to Settings > Devices > Mouse & Touchpad > Additional mouse options > In the Mouse Properties dialogue window (smaller window on right), choose Devise Settings, see Synaptics Touchpad in the window, and just below are Enable and Disable buttons. Click Disable, then OK (or
Apply to try it), and exit when done.
Fn F9 did not work for me on my Toshiba Satellite C55t-A. I went to Control Panel/Mouse and selected the tab Device Settings. There is a button to enable/disable the touch pad.
The mystery to me is how my touchpad was disabled. I never use an external mouse. Maybe I fat-fingered something.
