Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault, black screen after start up.

I recently purchased Medal of Honor 10 year anniversary edition and installed it and after it didn't work I found out that it wasn't compatible with Windows 7 64 bit. So, I sucked it up and bought the MOH War Chest which is supposed to be compatible with Windows 7 64 bit. I installed the game and had the same issue as the other version. I start up the program, it shows the loading screen, the screen flashes gray then goes black and then I get message Medal of Honor Allied Assault has stopped working and will now close blah blah blah... I've tried to run it in just about every compatibility mode, running it as administrator, I have downloaded the latest drivers and I have the latest DirectX. I'm at a loss of what to do now. All I want to do is play my first favorite video game again. Please help.

Asus A53S

Intel Core i5-2430M

6GB of Ram

GeForce GT540

Windows 7 64-Bit

I hope that is enough information.

My problem resolve by following instructions listed on this link  http://afridi.pk/windows-7-medal-of-honor-allied-assault-crashes-to-the-desktop/

Honestly it took me long long time to figure out the solution,,, as I have to setup Mohaa in our Office network to have internal Mohaa matches...

If anyone still face a problem then do let me know , I would be glad to assist them.

I have the 10th Anniversary edition and the War Chest version. I have the War Chest installed. I updated the driver from Nvidia's site.

I tried both of your suggestions and neither worked.

You're not alone with this problem. Even though MOHAA appears as compatible to Windows 7 (32-/64-bit) in the MS compatibility list, there seem to be installation (and installation-only!) problems on some systems. You could try this approach: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-gaming/7-64-bit-medal-of-honor-allied-assault/7ee2e139-2ce3-44bd-a0bf-55bb098d2bc3.

    Hi MrStute,

    1.  Which version of Medal Of Honor did you purchase?
    2. Did you install graphic card driver from computer manufacturer?

I would suggest you to perform clean boot and check if the issue persists.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7**http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135**Note: Follow step 7 from the clean boot article KB929135 to reset the computer back to normal mode.
