At start up I get " 0251; System CMOS checksum bad-- default configuration used" and I have to reset the date and time. How can I remedy this?

    Sounds like your bios cmos battery may be failing.

    How you replace it depends on your PC make/model

    HOW about just replaced battery, get  cmos checksum bad and need reset date?
