Missing "Run as administrator" option in context menu in start menu searches

Windows 7 Ultimate x64

The "Run as administrator" potion doesn't appear in the context menu for programs discovered in a search using the start menu. See images.

Is there a fix for this?

    Now Ive had this with word.

    If you press <shift> and then right-click the item, is it there then?

    My Notepad has the 'run as admin' choice, but word does not for me. (TBH I'm not sure if word should or not?) But if I <shift> as well, then its there for word.

    Sorry it took me a long time to reply, SFC reveals no integrity violations. Making a new user account does not solve the problem.

    Follow these mehtods and check:

    Method 1:

    I would suggest you to do a system restore to an earlier point of time before the issue occurred.

    Method 2:

    I would suggest you to follow these steps:

    a. Right click on the program.

    b. Under Compatibility tab, check if you have the option “Run this program as an administrator”.

    Method 3:

    Try to run Microsoft Safety Scanner for any spyware or malware infection and check if it helps.

    I can't follow method one because the problem started months ago and I'm just now getting around to troubleshooting.

    Method two only forces the program to run in administrator whenever I open it, that's not what I want to do, I want to restore the "Run as administrator" option to the context menu.

    Anti-malware scans don't indicate the presence of an infection.

    1.       Were there any changes made on the computer prior to the issue?

    Follow these methods and check if it helps:

    Method 1:

    I would suggest you to try performing SFC (System File Checker) scan on your computer and check if the issue still persists. To view how to perform the SFC Scan click on the Kb article and follow the steps.

    I would suggest you to creating a new user account and check if you face the similar issue:
