    Hi endurevp,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft community.

    1.       Which online backup program are you using?

    2.       How are you accessing the online backup program?

    3.       Are you using a browser to access the online backup program?

    4.       If you are using a browser, which web browser are you using?

I would suggest you to perform clean boot and check.

Place the computer in a clean boot state and then check if it helps. You can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" state

NOTE: Make sure that you perform “step 7” from link mentioned above to boot your computer normally.

Please perform these recommended steps, review the additional information provided and post back if you are still experience the issue. I will be glad to provide you with additional options available that you can utilize to get this resolved.
