If I'm in a photo file, I can't figure out how to select several photos to be printed simultaneously on one piece of paper.  I've done it before with other photo programs.

    Hi paulakur,

In order to print multiple photos in one page you need to edit the printing options, please follow the steps below:

    1. Open Photo Gallery.
    2. Select all the photos that will be included.
    3. Press Ctrl + P, on the right side of the Print Pictures window select the Print size option.

Note: The Print size option contains several layouts that will allow you to include multiple pictures on one page. Let us know if you have any follow up questions.

    Regards,

    Gerard G.

    Hello dustyboots49,

Thank you for that information. Since you're receiving the message about opening file types even you've clicked the don't show me this message again, it is possible that there is a corrupted data within the program. It is also possible that this is the cause as to why you can't use the shift key to choose multiple photos at once. To troubleshoot the issue, please follow the steps below to repair Windows Photo Gallery/Essentials:

    For Windows Vista/7:

    1. Click the Start menu.
    2. Click Control Panel.
    3. Click Programs.
    4. Click Programs and Features.
    5. Search for Windows Essentials 2012 on the list and then select it.
    6. Click Uninstall/Change.
    7. Click Repair all Windows Essentials programs.

Alternatively, you can choose your photos by holding down Ctrl key and click the photos individually.

Let us know the results afterwards.

    Thank you.

Regarding your response #2....How do I select multiple photos? Holding down the shift key doesn't do it

    I'm using Windows 7, Photo Gallery 2012.

Another problem I have is that every time I open Photo Gallery a box appears asking me if I want Photo Gallery to open these types of files.  I click on 'yes.'  I also check the box 'don't show me this message again.'  But EVERY time I open PG I get the same message.
