8.0.50727.6195 is Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable.

    Error 0x80073712 is side by side component store is corrupt (inconsistent state).

    This problem is likely to be intractable.

    Things you can try:

    Download and run the System Update Readiness Tool appropriate for your system from

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821

Run the System File Checker http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable and reinstall the version appropriate to your computer from
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26347

    If neither the System Update Readiness Tool or the System File Checker solve the problem, uninstall both and then download and run vcredist_x86.EXE and vcredist_x64.EXE from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26347.

    Note that some programs may not work whilst Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable is uninstalled.

    Your Windows installation has been corrupted. There should be a HRESULT code at the end of the messge.

    Do the System Update Readiness tool and System File Checker complete without error?

    Does Windows Update history show any errors?

    Try running the fsutil command as shown in the penultimate post here:
