Hi,
- Did you make any changes on the computer prior to the issue?
- Do you receive any error message on the computer?
- Who is the manufacturer of
network adapter?
- Do you have an Ethernet socket?
Method 1:
Try updating the network adapter.
a. To direct Windows to automatically detect and install network adapters for you, follow these steps:
b. Right-click My Computer and then click Properties.
c. Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
d. To see a list of installed network adapters, expand Network adapter(s).
e. Click to locate the network adapter, and then click Uninstall.
f. Restart the computer, and then let the system automatically detect and install the network adapter drivers.
g. If not update the network adapter with latest driver from manufacturer’s website.

Method 2:
You may disable the ant-virus installed on the computer and check.
Note: Make sure to enable the security software so that the computer is protected.
Method 3:
If the above steps fail then, the issue might be because the 1394 network adapter uses the computer's IEEE 1394 (FireWire) port to connect to another computer. It's not the computer's Ethernet network connection.
It's normal for it to show as connected, even when it isn't. You can ignore the connection or disable it.
