Hi @legend , as issues with tag "vs-setup" focus on Visual Studio, your issue is related to Visual Studio Code, I would remove the "vs-setup" tag. Thanks for your understanding.

VS Code doesn't run on Windows XP, an alternative to is Notepad ++

You can try the updated 2023 link for downloading the 1.14.2 version , but it's not working for my Windows XP SP3 retro machine https://update.code.visualstudio.com/1.14.2/win32/stable
You can download old versions like 1.14 : 1.14.2
The download is not working it is says the page is unreachable

Now I can still find it on Mirror sites from the filename, like :
