    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft community!

You've reached the right forum for your question. As I understand, you cannot install the Bluetooth driver. I would suggest you to follow the troubleshooting steps to check if it helps.

You receive error code 28 if the drivers for this device are not installed.

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

You may try running the Hardware and Device troubleshooter and check if it helps.

    a. Press Windows Key +R, type Control Panel.

    b. Type troubleshooting in the search bar, click on troubleshooting.

    c. Click on Hardware and Sound, click on Hardware and Devices.

    d. Follow the steps from the wizard to run the troubleshooter.

**Step 2:**After running the troubleshooter, you may also check in Windows updates for Bluetooth drivers. If it is available, install the same and check if it helps.

    a. At the Start screen, type Windows Update.

    b. Click or tap Settings on the right side of the screen, and then select Install optional updates from the left

    Method 2:

You may refer to the computer or device manufacturer website to download and install the latest version of Bluetooth drivers. If Windows 8 drivers are not available, you need to install Windows 7 drivers in compatibility mode.

    a. Download the driver setup file.

    b. Right-click on the driver executable/installer file.

    c. Click on Properties and select the Compatibility tab.

    d. Click the checkbox for Run this program in Compatibility mode for and select Windows 7.

    Refer the link:

Please reply with the results. I would be glad to assist you further.

I already follow your Step-1 and Step-2 and I still have the unknown driver in my device manager. The location show "on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System" and device show unknown.

I already used the windows update several time and installed all the optional update. However, I still cannot get my Bluetooth driver. I already search at intel.com website and installed some update but still cannot detect my Bluetooth driver.

HP's support site (support.hp.com) seems to include a driver for the Intel Bluetooth radio on your laptop model.  I found a link here, after selecting Operating system "Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)" under the category of "Driver - Network".
