No recent changes. Only new problem is in IE9: One of my three User Accounts can't reopen closed tabs.

The online reference showed:

Technet solution to ESENT Error 623:To resolve this warning, do the following to resolve the issue("http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"):

Too technical for me. What is wuaueng.dll (312) SUS20ClientDataStore ?

Then:

Make sure that you are running the most current Exchange service

pack.

Automatic Update keeps me up to date.

Install any publicly available ESE and Exchange store hotfixes that have been released since the current service pack. Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base for the following: Event ID 623, Error -1069, and Jet_errVersionStoreOutOfMemory.

Not found.

Further:

Known resolutions with the version store include turning off write-back caching on thephysical disk instead of the controller, and making registry changes if using instant messaging or heavily using POP3 and IMAP4 clients against the server. Other issues will be documented as they arise. If the issue is still not resolved by the above methods, contact Microsoft Product Support Services to continue troubleshooting the problem.

I don't know how to do any of that. I don't even know what ESENT is.

Is this why my IE9 Restore Closed Tabs stopped working? Someone please explain all of this.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community Forum.

From your description I understand that you are receiving error message ESET and Event ID: 623 while using Internet Explorer 9.

To understand the issue better, please answer the following questions:

    1. Is the computer connected to domain?

    2. When exactly you receive this error message?

    3. What do you mean by ‘Internet Explorer 9 Restore Closed tabs stopped working’?

    4. Is the issue persisting while browsing any website or opening new tab?

    1. I'm not sure exactly what a domain is. My single desktop is connected to nothing but an ISP cable and an old printer. The first connection is designated a Home Network, but there is no HomeGroup. I have three User Accounts--two with Administrator status and one Standard.

    2. Received only once (see my question). Date: 10/16/2012 6:46:58 PM

    3. Only my Standard User Account has this problem:

In IE9 (32 or 64), if I open two tabs and then close one of them, I cannot reopen it either by right-clicking the home tab and choosing Reopen Closed Tab or by opening a blank tab and choosing the same command on the lower left. Nothing happens. The problem applies to multiple tabs also, but it is absent when I use either of the other two User Accounts.

    4. Only the one error message. I don't know what I was doing when it came in. It hasn't appeared again, but the message says I need to "commit or roll back a long-running transaction." I have no idea what transaction or where because I don't understand the terminology of the message.

What is ClientDataStore? Please explain what they are talking about; it sounds like a problem that is growing.

    11/22/2012 UPDATE

I cleaned up my User accounts' permissions, and my Reopen Closed Tabs and another minor browser problem are gone--aparently unrelated.

I still wish someone would explain the above ESENT error to me. Just what is about to stop being updated?!
