I would like to transfer photos, either from Windows Photo Gallery, or my Pictures file, from my computer, back onto a camera

card.  I am currently operating with Vista.  Is this possible?  If so, how do I do it ?

    Hello BrendaKS,

Does your camera have an SD Card or will you be storing the pictures in your Cameras memory?

If the camera has an SD Memory card then you need to place this memory card into the card reader on your PC. All you then need to do is copy the pictures you want to transfer to your camera and then paste them into the SD memory card.

If your camera doesn't have an SD Memory card then you will be using the cameras' own memory to hold the new pictures. This will reduce the amount of memory you have for taking new pictures and, eventually, you will run out of memory and you will need to copy the pictures to another storage device.

If you are just using the computers memory then the camera should have a USB lead which allows you to fasten one end to the camera and the other end to your PC's USB port to allow you to transfer data between the two.

I am, however, assuming that your PC has an SD Memory card which stores the photographs.

    Just one additional point....

Yes, the files can be copied back to the memory card but

be aware that if the photos have been edited in 'any' way...

(rotated, contrast/brightness, rename, etc...)  the camera

    may not recognize/display them.
