My computer now shows all money in euros, not dollars.

Starting today, and for no reason that I can detect, my computer is now showing hotel rates, my bank deposits, all money/currency values in euros instead of in dollars.

I have checked the computer settings and they are set to US currency: dollars.

I think it might be something in the browser I am using -- Google Chrome -- that switched it, but I cannot find a fix.

Help please!

Mo

I figured it out.  I had loaded a google chrome app that was a currency converter, not a currency exchange rate tool.  So, it was changing all dollars to euros.  So, I got rid of the app and all is good.

    Thanks,

    Mo

    Hi MoOConnell,

I would suggest you to try opening the hotel rates and bank websites in Internet Explorer and see if that helps. I would also suggest you to check if the issue persist in no add-ons mode.

    How to optimize Internet Explorer

Note: The Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature might reset security settings or privacy settings that you added to the list of Trusted Sites. The Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature might also reset parental control settings. We recommend that you note these sites before you use the Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature.

If the issue occurs only in Google Chrome, then I would suggest you to contact Google chrome support.

Hope this information is helpful and do let us know if you need further assistance. We will be glad to assist.

It is an easy fix... I have IE9 but should be same for newer versions as of 6/2014.

    1. In Internet Explorer, go to Internet Options.
    2. Under the GENERAL TAB, click on LANGUAGES.

    1. Remove any languages other than English (United States) [US].

    1. Press ok, then Apply

You should now see US dollars again (refresh page if necessary)
