js32.dll error

I have 64-bit Windows 7-I've installed a new program and when I try to open the download I get the following pop up error: "THE PROGRAM CAN'T START BECAUSE JS32.DLL IS MISSING FROM YOUR COMPUTER. TRY REINSTALLING THE PROGRAM TO FIX THIS PROBLEM." I re-installed and it did not help. The company sent me a new USB of their program that is supposed to have fixed prior Windows 7 errors, but I continue to get the error. Is this a problem I can easily fix or is it best to return the new software?

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community!

You are getting error THE PROGRAM CAN'T START BECAUSE JS32.DLL IS MISSING FROM YOUR COMPUTER. TRY REINSTALLING THE PROGRAM TO FIX THIS PROBLEM."

    Method 1:

Perform SFC (System file checker) scan and see whether the issue is resolved or not.

How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7 ******http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833**

    Method 2:

Run a complete system scan on the computer using Microsoft Safety Scanner and check if that helps. You may download and run the Microsoft Safety scanner from the following link.

    http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.

    Hope it helps.

Have you tried right-clicking on the shortcut to the program, or the .exe, and selecting the "Run As Administrator" option?  Do so even if your user is an Admin.

Try right-clicking on the actual Setup.exe and selecting the "Run As Administrator" option?  Do so even if your user is an Admin.

Have you tried searching for the file?

It may be necessary to show Both Hidden and System Files, and also to uncheck "Hide known file types" in Control Panel/ Folder Options/ View, to navigate or search for the file on your machine
