How to install a driver that does not contain digital signature information in Windows 8?

    I appreciate your efforts towards resolving the issue.

    I would suggest you to try following steps and check if it helps.

    a. Press Windows + X keys and click command prompt(admin).

    b. Type the following command in command prompt and press Enter.

    bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS & bcdedit /set testsigning on

    c. Close command prompt.

    Turn off the check.

    Hold the shift key while clicking on Restart

    Select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart

    After Restart select option 7.

    In windows 8.1, holding down the shift key while clicking restart does not result in that, or any, options being offered.

    How can the startup settings be displayed, since that does not work in Windows 8.1?

    I understand that you are getting error in "The third-party INF does not contain digital signature information" in Windows 8.

    1.      What is the make and model of the computer?

    2.      Which driver you are trying to install?

    Please follow the methods.

    Method 1:

    Run the hardware troubleshooter and check if that helps. Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter.

    a)    Press the ‘**Windows + w’**and type **‘troubleshooting’**in the search and press enter.

    b)    Click on ‘Hardware and Sound’ and select ‘Hardware and Devices’ and click on ‘next’ to run the troubleshooter.

    Method 2:

    Install the drivers in Windows 7 Compatibility mode and see if it helps.

    a: Right Click on the set up file of the driver and then select Properties.

    b: Then click the compatibility tab and select Windows 7 from the list and then click ok.
