The computer will not accept my Ironkey (encrypted thumb drive) . Any suggestions?

Check out the Compatibility Center and click on Devices and choose Storage Devices.
Then, under category, please choose Flash/USB.
Please feel free to provide any feedback regarding compatibility with the devices you have tried with your Surface.
