I recently bought a computer which came with Windows 8.  I can't find a way to make this work with my Xerox Phaser 3250 printer.  Is there a driver for this printer that is compatible with Windows 8?

    Hi Rick Kaufman,

It looks like you are having some issues with your printer and we will be glad to assist you.

However I would like you to answer some questions which will help us resolving the issue.

    1.      Did you receive an driver CD with the printer?

    2.      Did you try to install the printer driver on your computer?

    3.      Do you get any error message?

Here I would suggest you to go through the step.

    Method 1:

Go through the link to get more information about how to fix printer related issues

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/printer-problems-in-windows-help#fix-printer-problems=windows-8&v1h=win8tab1&v2h=win7tab1&v3h=winvistatab1&v4h=winxptab1

    Method 2:

Download and install the Windows 7 drivers in compatibility mode

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode:

    a.       Right click the driver installation file and select Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab.

    b.      Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.

    c.       Tap or click the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click OK.

    d.      Try installing the driver and check.

    Method 3:

Refer the link to get information about  how to install printers.
