Looking for VIsta or Win7 Driver for x-rite's Eye-One Display

I'm having difficulty finding the 64-bit driver for Win7 (or Vista) for the Eye-One Display2 calibration device. Does anyone know where I can find this? (I've already searched x-rite's site and checked Windows Update)

Thanks

    Hi RobSinc,

Thank you for posting your question on Windows Vista Forums.

I will recommend you to download and install drivers from the given link for Eye-One Display2 calibration device:

    http://www.xrite.com/product\_overview.aspx?Action=support&ID=788

However, if you still can’t use the device, I will recommend you to contact the device manufacturer and they should be able to provide you further information.

You can contact the device manufacturer by using the following link:

    http://www.xrite.com/contact\_us.aspx?reasonid=3

Also, if you can verify that there are no yellow exclamation or red cross mark in the device manager for the device, we may have to uninstall the hardware completely and then reinstall it back on the machine.

Hope the above information helps. Please post back and let us know.

    Regards,

    Ashish Gupta – Microsoft Support

I have tried following the above instructions, but whenever I attempt to launch eyeone on my new laptop/windows 7 program, I get a message that the device is "not found."    And I can't click on the monitor icon (or any other option) to start the program.

    What am I doing wrong?????

    Thanks for any help!

Update:  OK.  I got it now.  I had just uploaded i1 match; when I also uploaded diagnostics, I was able to run the i-1 match program.  Only difference tho, is that the uploaded version doesn't search for placement of the device on the monitor.  rather, you have to line up the device with the color patch squares.  and the order of presenting the luminance/hue samples is different.  but it seems to works.

    (yay)

I think you need to go to the xrite site and specifically choose the driver to install.

I just took a look at the link Aashish G posted in 2009 (which helped me) and found the following page:

    http://www.xrite.com/product_overview.aspx?ID=788&Action=support&SupportID=5084

It looks like this has a driver for Windows.

Hopefully, downloading and installing that one will work for you.

    Good luck,

    Rob

    Hi

I have followed the instruction to try to install win7 drivers for Eye one. Unfortunately in device manager Windows7 can not find any drivers even when it scans the Internet. I'm still left with the yellow triangle.

    Can you help.

    Regards,

    Charlie

    Thanks for your help Ashish.

Yes, this was very helpful - and was the driver I needed to get this working on Win 7.

    Thanks!

    Rob
