Dell Inspiron 1564 Bluetooth Not Working

Bluetooth is enabled in the BIOS. 

The latest driver has compatibility issues and hence is not installing.

Please help

    To help you suggest more steps to resolve the issue, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

    . Do you receive any error code or message?

    Please follow the below methods and check the issue:

    Method 1:

    Update the drivers for Bluetooth in the manufacturer’s website and check from the below link:

    Download the available drivers in compatibility mode and check.

    a.    Right click on the driver setup file and select “Properties”.

    b.    Select “Compatibility” Tab.

    c.    Make a check mark next to Run this program in “Compatibility mode” and select previous version of Windows supported by the software, from the drop down list.

    d.   Then click on “Apply” and “Ok” option.

    e.    Then install the driver.

    f.     Then restart your computer and check how it works.

    Method 2:

    Install optional updates and check.

    a. At the Start screen, type Windows Update.

    b. Click or tap Settings on the right side of the screen, and then select Install optional updates from the left results

    c. When the Windows Update control panel opens, click on “Check for Updates” on the top left corner to receive a fresh list of updates.

    If the issue persists, please contact the manufacturer and check the issue.
