help pls. how do I fix this

Im just new to windows 8.

System Manufacturer : ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.

System Model : K55VD

    Hi Jchha,

    From the Hardware Ids the device appears to be a Realtek card reader.

    if you have a  K55VD as the original poster you can download a Windows 8 driver for the card reader (Realtek Multi-Card Reader Driver) from the following link:

    Hi kingtrivino,

    In the Device Manager can you right-click the problem device > Properties > Details, then choose "Hardware Ids" from the drop-down menu under "Property".

    What is listed under "Value"?

    From your issue description I understand that, you are receiving the error: PCI device not installed (code 28). Don’t worry; we will certainly help you.
