I backed up my windows xp files from my old computer on a portable hard drive. When using my new computer windows 7 I cannot open the files on the portable hard drive. They are in NBF format. It appears windows 7 cannot open NBF files.

The EZ Backup program I made the backups with was installed on my new computer.

Then you have a problem don't you?

If you still have access to your old computer just COPY all your data file and PASTE them to your new machine....

Well acording to www, filext, com the "NBF" file extension is either associated with an application called "Backup NOW" or "NVidia (scene graphic). So I suspect you need to install the application you made these backup files with on your new computer to be able to open them.

    Seems fairly logical to me...
