 I just added a new software and am trying to open it for the first time.  I continue to get the message below.  This is happening when I open other applocations on my system.  can someone help me find a fix?

Hi,

Thank you for posting the question on Microsoft Community forums. As per the description, you are getting an error message “Neat has stopped working”. Let’s analyze and identify the cause of the issue.

1.        Which are the programs that you are facing this issue with?

2.       Does this error occur when you launch a specific program or randomly?

Method 1:

Step 1: Safe modeBoot your computer in safe mode and check for the issue.

To start your computer in Safe mode

Step 2: Clean boot

If you do not face the issue in safe mode, then put your computer in clean boot and check for the issue.

Note: Once you are done with clean boot, please follow step 3 **** in the article to put your computer back to normal startup.

Method 2:

I would suggest you to open the program in administrator mode and check.

Method 3:

Step 1: If the issue still persists, you may uninstall the program and check with the issue.

    I figured out a fix for this issue. Delete the QSP folder in the C:/users/<username>/Neat Data directory..... The program will work again and automatically recreate a new QSP folder.
