d. Press power button and hold for 10-15 seconds.
e. Plug power cord back into computer and press power button.

g. If LED’s are on or power supply fan starts spinning, watch for boot screen
h. If computer begins to turn on, turn it off.
i. Reconnect battery and external devices.
j. Press power button and make sure computer starts.
Method 2: ****You could try resetting the bios back to default settings by either taking out the bios battery for a few minutes or using the header on your motherboard (if it has one), but if it still doesn't work in the bios screen and you've tried other keyboards that are known to be OK, then there's got to be something wrong with the motherboard, I'd have thought that by connecting a USB keyboard would have confirmed this.
Go into the BIOS and check for the *halt on* settings - turn the keyboard to not halt on error, save, and reboot .

Modifying BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly.
