Just bought a new laptop with windows 8, it is in my network but the computer is no where to be found. Is there such a thing as a Control panel on windows 8? If not what do I do??  Thanks

Start and just type Control Panel.  That will find it.  Or right click on the Start Screen and select All Apps.  You will find it there as well.

This is great. Thank you! It would be even greater if Windows help mentioned it. (It would be still greater if they just brought back the Win 7 interface, but one can't have everything.)
