May I point out that UNLIKE hibernation.sys file, the PAGEFILE.sys CAN BE MOVED AROUND YOUR OTHER HARD DISKS...
I always make an extra partition on already other hard disk, that is just for pagefile purposes, and it does, first of all, free CPU and MEMORY stress and speeds up the entire process... That "feeling" of things being faster depend, of course, on the amount
of work you are putting to your comp to do....
But, running into same problem (small 128 SSD), I removed hiber.sys totally and moved PAGEFIL.sys to other disk, my C:system disk got more air and entire process of chewing and spitting out large amounts of HD-edited video got simply faster!!!
