It says I need to go to settings, but I couldn't find anything that would return it back. I clicked hide for all the other ones too, now I don't know how to see photos on my surface.

Go to Settings >Options > Check the box against the unchecked or hidden Photos.

You'll need to go to the Desktop and open File Manager, then into the Library for Pictures.

In the upper right hand corner, just below the red Close button, you'll see a little arrow that points down. Touch it or click on it and a Ribbon of choices will appear. On the right side of the Ribbon there will be a unchecked box next to Hidden items. Put a check mark in the box.

Now your hidden photos should appear, but you need to right click on each one and select Properties (at the bottom). In Properties uncheck Hidden, then select or click on Apply, then OK.

That should get your photos back for you.

Go to Settings >Options > Check the box against the unchecked or hidden Photos.

Neither my Photos app or my Pictures Library within has that option when I bring up the Charms and select Settings, then Options. Where do you see this?
