Demonic noises and freezing

Whenever I go to watch a video online, or play certain games, my computer freezes up and makes loud demonic, gurgling noises. It's like the sound is in slow motion and very low toned and drawn out like a annoying robot, Ctrl alt delete doesn't seem to work and it stays this way for about 5 minutes straight, then after it seems to work for a brief moment, it does it all over again. I've scanned for viruses and it comes up with nothing, otherwise my computer works great. Has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone know what it could be and how to go about fixing it?
