Hey, so after system restoring (and a little other messing around unfortunately I've undone the restore and this is still the case) I get a CLI.exe - .NET Framework Initialization Error (it was a MOM.exe sometimes too...) C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\mscoreei.dll
could not be loaded. Also, the system updater will not update (there are 7 .NET security files waiting but fail every time) and I can't run a "fixit" program supposed to fix it. I'm about to just take my computer back to factory default settings but I can't
until I get back to where I've stored those CDs.
This all started from me trying to get Windows Live Auto Sign In program thing to work (I running a .NET repair but that didn't have the desired effect - Windows Live Sign In working).
I tried reinstalling Framework but when I did that (and restarted) 5 error pop-ups came up including the original so I undid the system restore bringing me back to the one error message of mscoreei.dll not running. I cleared some cache (which I think
included system restores) so I was limited to when I could restore (only to today, I couldn't back track earlier).
So currently windows update or the framework area (which includes catalyst controls). I'm also getting errors when I try running games on steam and crashing on heroes of newerth (I just reinstalled HoN.
I'm running Windows 7 - 64xbit
When I run sfc /scannow it comes up clean (did not find any integrity violations). I'm at a loss as to what to do here.
Oh, also firefox isn't working as intended. Most websites don't load properly and texts and graphics don't load (i'm working on chrome now)
Edit:
(randomly on the side) when I try running the Windows Live uninstall program that would run before the problems started (wlarp) it says "the version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your comp's system info
to see whether you need an x86 or x64 version... I'm running an x64 and it is an x64 Live program. How do I uninstall this when the uninstall is broken? The add/remove program feature doesn't recognize the Windows Live or Windows Games programs and won't
remove those either.
