Hello my friends

first of all i want to ask is wisptis.exe a normal process because it makes my hardware works incorrectly(i will told you how) because when i starts searching about it in the internet i found that most people asking how to close it or make it stop working even the asked if its a virus or not because it makes some problems in there computers like high memory and cpu concuming and also other hardware problems this is the first question.

now the second question about my problem which is when turn on or restart my computer that has windows 7 professional sp1 32 or 64 bit while its connected to my "interactive white board" (which is a white board that user can touch it then it transfere touch events to the computer) the white board behaviour will be incorrect by sending mouse event instead of touch events to the os and many programs that is touch enabled will not works correctly and its behaviour will be wrong now when end the wisptis.exe process from the task manager it will close and open directly which means restart it then restart the applications it will works fine.

so my question is ,is there any problem in wisptis.exe service that microsoft has to fix or the problem from the hardware we are using and if there is a problem in this service how we can report it to microsoft to fix it and if not what is the problem may be with my hardware.

regards

    Hi,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community. As per the problem description wisptis.exe is making the hardware work incorrectly.

I will help you with this issue. Wisptis.exe is a product installed by Microsoft Office or packaged with Windows updates. It is a high memory consumption program that automatically launches at computer start-up. It deals with "Windows ink Services" and tends to work together with Adobe Acrobat Reader. It is not a malicious tool, but can be very annoying because it runs anytime even when it is not being used. Remove this nonessential program quickly and easily without affecting system processes and programs. I would suggest you to follow these steps:

    a)    Press Ctrl, Alt, and Delete together to open the Windows Task Manager. Click Processes.

    b)    Scroll through and search for Wisptis.exe. Click it and select End Process. If it is not a currently running program, move to the next step.

    c)    Click the Windows Start button and select Run. Type in "%WinDir%" and press Enter to open the Windows folder.

    d)    Double-click System32 and locate Wisptis.exe. Right-click it, and select Delete. Empty the recycle bin.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance with windows.
