With a touch screen computer, can I also use my mouse if I need to? Otherwise, how could I edit my photos?

I also need to know if my Photoshop Elements 6 will run on Windows 8.  It's a big change for me, but so far I've learned all the other changes through the years.  Got my first computer in 1989.  A Kaypro with 64K memory and two disks.

Yes, you can use a mouse and keyboard if your PC has a touch screen. I have a Surface and I use all three - keyboard, mouse, and touch.

Not sure about using Photoshop Elements 6 on Windows 8. This compatibility page recommends an update:

Thanks so much.  I feel much better now about getting my new computer which has a touch screen, and Windows 8.
