need to install a wireless mouse to Acer Aspire laptop

No make on mouse just "2.4G Wireless Mouse"  any help would be appreciated

    Based on the description, it appears that you want to install 2.4G Wireless Mouse on the Acer Aspire Laptop.

    a. Insert new batteries into the battery compartment of your wireless mouse.

    b. Position the wireless receiver least eight inches away from your laptop, and between eight inches and six feet away from the mouse.

    d. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the mouse driver.

    e. Connect the wireless receiver to the USB port on your laptop.

    f. Test your new mouse by moving it around on your screen and clicking a few icons.

    Thank you for your response.

    It seems that you do not have a CD to install drivers. Based on the situation, I would suggest you to contact the manufacturer of the mouse and install the latest drivers.

    You may also try to install the driver updates and check if it helps.

    Hi - Thank you for your reply, I have Windows 7, but unfortunately do not have a CD for the mouse.

    Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
