If even after removing Babylon from your Browser and control panel still comes up

    ·         Take a Regestry Backup and follow the steps:

    ·         Windows+R on desktop> Type Regedit and hit ok button> Select computers> hit Ctrl+F> Type Babylon in the search box and hit "Find Next" button.

    ·         That brings up the Babylon regestry control just Delete it(Hit Del and Enter),Search again(Just hit F3) and delete all the babylon controls.

    ·         Repeat the above step untill search says: "Finished Searching through the Regestry" when you hit F3.

    ·         Click ok button.

    ·         Restart the computer(Optional)

This piece of malware can be a swine to get out of the system

I found this a reasonable guide http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-babylon-toolbar/ and main bit was the ADWCleaner. It found 29 separate entries for Babylon in the registry referencing programs hidden in the Windows directory not in the main program files directory even after running the so called uninstaller.

    Hi,

    1.       What happens when you try to uinstall it?

    2.       Do you receive any error message?

I suggest you to perform the following steps to uninstall Babylon Toolbar.

    1.       Right-click the Babylon icon on the lower right of your screen next to the system clock and click "Exit." Click "Yes" to confirm.

    2.       Click the Windows "Start" menu, type "appwiz.cpl" in the Search field and press "Enter." This will bring you to the programs window that displays programs and applications installed on your computer.

    3.       Scroll through the programs folder and click "Babylon Toolbar." Click "Uninstall" and click "Yes" to confirm the uninstall process.

    4.       Click "Start," select "Computer" and open the "Local Disk C:" drive. Open the "Programs Files" folder.

    5.       Right-click the Babylon folder it and click "Delete." Click "Yes" to confirm your choice. Empty the "Recycle Bin."

    6.       Open Internet Explorer. Go to Tools and choose Manage Add-ons.

    7.       Select Toolbars and Extensions. Uninstall everything related to Babylon Ltd. from the list: Babylon toolbar, Babylon toolbar helper, Babylon IE plugin, babylonToolbar.com, etc.

    8.       Select Search Providers. First of all, choose Bing search engine and make it your default search provider (set as default). Then select Search the web (Babylon) and click Remove button to uninstall it (lower right corner of the window).

    9.       Go to Tools to open Internet Options. Select General tab and click Use default button or enter your own website, e.g. www.msn.com instead of search.babylon.com. Click OK to save the changes.

None of this was helpful. I can't seem to find the program anywhere on my computer and yet it still pops up as my browser and still pops up on spybot no matter how many times I run it and remove it.

If you do a quick Google search for "babylon toolbar removal" you'll find many links for removal guides.

For example, here's a very detailed removal guide: http://deletemalware.blogspot.com/2011/09/remove-babylon-toolbar-and-search-web.html

I would also suggest doing a full scan in safe mode with Malwarebytes or Microsoft Security Essentials.
