I have tried this and have tried ticking the box in settings for auto fill. It used to autofill in windows XP but not since I use Windows 8. Still looking for answers.

I too have tried-and finally gave up and went to Chrome-after the complete failure of the autofill to work. Don't believe MS or Billo think this is a priority. As soon as I am able, any/all MS products will cease to be a priority for me.
