Device Epson stylus sx215

i am using an Epson stylus sx215 multi printer , when I got a new laptop i tried to get the driver for it I only found model sx210 so I tried it and it worked to a point then I managed to find the right driver for the 215 model but after downloading it to my laptop I can not get it to be recognised and for the time being am still having o use the sx210 driver can you help me please

    1. Delete the driver that is now installed by navigating to the Control Panel   Devices and Printers and deleting the printer.
    2. Unplug the printer from the computer.
    3. Reboot.
    4. Install the sx215 driver.
    5. Plug the printer in when instructed to do so.

    It should be detected and the driver installed for use. 6. Test printing.

    I guess it was better with numbers and no links to the driver downloads.

    Disconnect the printer physically.

    Remove the printer and drivers completely.

    Reboot with the printer disconnected.

    Download the proper drivers from Epson:

      Windows 7 32-bit

      Windows 7 64-bit

    Start the installation, plug in the printer if asked.  If never asked during the installaiton, reboot and log in once more before plugging in the printer.
