You have to manually eliminate the AI Charger driver. Go to Task Manager - select Processes - AIChargerPlus is near the top - Rt click on it and select "Go to file Location" - a new window opens and the AI Charger driver is there in one of the Program(x86) files on your root drive (C:) - Now go back to Task Manager and stop the process for AICharger. Then go back to the window that you opened where the file is located and move it to the trash. Then do a reboot. That gets rid of the nagging from Win 8 install and you can go on to load Win 8
HOW TO UNINSTALL ASUS AI CHARGER PLUS
I saw another topic about this issue but nothing in that topic was helpful so I will ask the same question here. How do I uninstall ASUS AI Charger Plus? It says that it's not compatible with Windows 8. I have tried to uninstall it through the control-panel, via the AI Suite II Uninstall program but it still doesn't work to uninstall the ASUS AI Charger Plus so please does anyone have any suggestions how I can uninstall it?

2013-01-22T01:10:48+00:00 If you select ASUS AI Suite from "Control Panel", "Programmes and Features", a welcome Screen Installation Wizard pop-up box appears.
When you click on "Next" you should be able to see ASUS AI Charger Plus in the list. When selected it will show a "X" by the side, then select "Uninstall". The computer will need to be restarted.
Instead of restarting from the Installation Wizard, I selected "Resume" on the Windows 8 set up, which also gave the option to "Restart" the computer.

2013-01-07T06:07:19+00:00 Go into Control Panel, select the Asus AI Suite, then select uninstall/change. You can then check the box next to "AI Charger +", and it will uninstall.
Unfortunately, this is the problem, "as stated earlier"... the option to uninstall/change is not available.
hence the problem...
Any solutions to this?

2012-12-23T01:42:56+00:00 I have this issue myself, and I tried going into the uninstall interface of the ASUS AI suite. It isn't on the list, and I can't find it anywhere by doing a file search, either. Saw one other question up about this at:
It'd be nice if I didn't have to buy a new computer to get windows 8, but I might not have a choice if somebody that knows what's going on doesn't show up to post something helpful.
