microsoft wireless 800 desktop drivers for 2.4ghz transceiver v8.0

Have just purchased following ,microsoft wireless 800 desktop 2.4ghz transceiver v8.0,running xp pro on pc and installation wizard is asking for software to support desktop set.Anyone got any idea what & where I can acquire.Thanks in advance.Ken

    1. Are you trying to install the application software by CD/DVD or through Online?
    2. What is the complete error message?
    3. Are you able to install other program successfully?

    try buying logitech. No drivers for Win 7 and abobe. Spanish software version the same error

    Have installed the suggested drivers but Wizard still starting and looking for drivers and software for Microsoft Transceiver.Thanks

    I have the exact same problem. There seems to be no driver for Win 8.1
