Hi joker62,
Thank you for posting your query in the Microsoft Community Forums.
The Microsoft Wireless mouse allows you to access the computer from over a distance. You have an issue with the Wireless
mouse shutting down at random. It can be difficult when something that is important to you does not work as expected. It is pretty simple and we are here to help you fix the issue.
We will work as a team and get this sorted out.
Please answer these questions-
1)
By, “Shutting down at random” do you mean that mouse turns off completely or does it keep disconnecting from the computer?
2)
Do you get any error message or error code?
3)
Does the mouse properly on a different computer (running the same version of Windows)?
4)
Have you made any changes on the computer prior to the issue?
I would like more information regarding the issue.
