how do I download Printer Wizard as in XP in Windows 7? I sometimes use Matte or Semigloss as well and often choose different sizes. Printing one 6x4 on a big sheet of photo paper is such a waste!

    Hi Colleen,

The option for the paper sizes in Photo Gallery depends on what printer is used. To check the settings for your printer, please follow these steps:

    1. Select the Photo to print.
    2. Press Alt+F, select Print, then click the Print option.
    3. Select your printer, the click Options on the lower right.
    4. Click Printer properties.
    5. The option for your printer should show up. Locate the option to select the paper size and paper that you will be using. Click Ok afterwards.
    6. The Paper size should show up the selected paper size on the printer properties. Click Print to print the photos.

Please let us know if you need more help.

    Thanks!

I have been to the printer manufacturer  instructions and although I can choose to use glossy I cannot choose the paper sizes I want. That is why I used Printer Wizard in XP. It just had so many options. Even Picassa doesn't have as many and it always prints one photo in the middle of the page which is such a waste of photographic paper.

will post my question on  the forum and see what happens.

     thanks

no that doesn't work like Printer Wizard did in XP. don't get option to alter size of paper or glossy/matte etc. why wasn't Printer Wizard included in Windows 7? I see lots of others are unhaappy about that too. makes me tempted to go back to XP - I print quite a lot of stuff and it is very inconvenient.
