I know, isn't he amusing though? He is their version of damage control. He comes on stating what Wajam is suppose to do! well, it is what it is not suppose to do that it does. These morons think they are dealing with a bunch of 16 year olds who are stuck to their facebook 24/7 who are totally clueless.

They found a loop hole through security at this point, but not for long. I know one of the sites that calls out malware, called it and alain was trying to dispute them. Make sure you go to other websites and comment as well. The word needs to get out and stay out. Mine came through a download from Cnet. I called them on it, but they consider it normal business as usual to piggyback unwanted garbage onto other software. That is their way of making money off of Wajam. I wonder if these jokers make money by having their malware popup and connect to some website and then they end up charging the website for the visits. It took me a few hours, but I made sure my pc was not connected to the internet while I was cleaning up of this malware.

I believe Wajam gets installed through Super Finder, an otherwise excellent Windows search program. But yes, it IS malware and for those who used the Wajam uninstaller, I would do a regedit and search your registry for remains of the program. Wajam caused all kinds of problems on my PC and after uninstalling I found numerous leftover entries in the registry.

    > If you think you found a bug, I encourage you to contact the company about it. feedback(at)wajam.com

Of course we've found a bug. It's called Wajam. And, as bugs go, it's one of the worst ones out there. Once it insinuates itself into your system, it's difficult and time-consuming to remove it.

We can't go to wajam.com because that's where the bug is produced. We're not in the habit of going to leper colonies to cure ourselves of leprosy, and we likewise will not develop the habit of going to wajam.com to cure ourselves of Wajam.

Alain Wong and his Wajam crew are all Rogues -

The Wajam program will alter your browsers home page without  you asking for it -

The program is a known Browser Hijacker and several Antivirus cimpanies have already listed this as a Rogue Infection.

It is not removed ny the methods mentioned above, but it will stay in the registry as a Tracking Program -

Several Antivirus companies are working on a full removal method now.

VIPRE has the signature registered in their data base, and some smaller AdWare programs have it listed as a Rogue, but have not had a full remover developed yet..

I just discovered it on my computer. Firefox updated last night. since then everything on my computer is acting buggy. I found Wajam in the programs list. I never downloaded it. So, it's a virus that these bozos are passing off as a safe program. either it came in with the Firefox update or I clicked on something that the wajam file was embedded in. whoever is behind this program is up to no good. thanks for messing up my computer
