Hello

I have Win 8 Pro x 64 and the Photo gallery is loaded with default pictures and videos.

I used to remove them in Win 7 but they require admin and Trusted rights.

If I click on my pictures they disappear as they should but the default is loaded with hundreds. Why are they there I such number and unable to be removed? Is it normal to have these hundreds of icons?

Thank you

Peter

I could not do as you suggested. There are 1,0025 icons in the gallery. When I click my pictures there is a blank page otherwise all of them are visible. I could not show you all of them.

    Hi Peter,

We appreciate the information you have provided. We determined that the cause of this issue are these folders: NVIDIA Corporation, 3D Vision Experience and Local Disk (C:) that you have included in your Photo Gallery. Those folders contains images and icons that your operating system used. To remove them, we recommend that you follow the steps below:

    1. Open Photo Gallery.
    2. On the program window, press these keys on your keyboard ALT + F and choose **Include folder.**3. Select the target folders (NVIDIA Corporation, 3D Vision Experience and Local Disk (C:) ) one at a time and click Remove button.
    3. Click OK button.

Let us know the result afterwards.

I have placed the icons on SkyDrive. They seem to be by month and year and seem to be default icons for Windows 8.

I was going to ad an attachment but there was no place to do so.

If you cannot see this on SkyDrive please tell me how to share with you.

    Thank you

    What type of icons ?

Do they look like Temporary files/ old web pages ?

Please add an example or screen shot of the "icons"

    Take screen shots,

Usually you can hold down the Shift key (could also be the Alt key) or (FN key on a laptop) and press the prtscrn key,

Then open microsoft Paint, and click on the Paste button on the top left.

Paint is located in the Accessories folder in All programs from the start button,

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Using-Paint

Then click on the blue file button and click on Save as, click on jpeg file type and name the file.

Upload it to skydrive or photobucket in a public album and post a direct link to the file here.

Or use the windows snipping tool,

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Use-Snipping-Tool-to-capture-screen-shots

Refer to this thread on how to make a public folder and submit screen shot here,
