Windows doesn't load passed logo screen

I've posted a question about this problem previously but as I've tried all the usual remedies eg Startup Repair, System Restore and others I thought I'd log what was happening at startup so here is the log that was created when I used bootlogging:

You can see that there are 4 driver entries show as not being loaded. Could these be the problem and if they are how can I solve this problem?

    I've not seen your previous post, but does the PC start in Safe mode consistently?

    If it does, try running an SFC / scannow and see if that finds and repairs anything.

    If you have windows 7 discs and you can get logged on once, consider backing up your data (just to be safe), and running a Repair Install.

    NO, it shouldn't. (But I'd still backup just to be safe)

    From the intro on the site:

    "This will show you how to do a repair install (aka: in-place upgrade install) to fix your currently installed Windows 7 and preserve your user accounts, data, programs, and system drivers."

    But I'd be tempted to try the clean boot first.

    Have you tried a 'clean boot' to see if that works OK? If it clean boots OK then you may be able to follow the 'How to determine what is causing the problem by clean boot' to see if some bit of software that has been loaded is causing the problem. I doubt it, but it may be worth a quick try.

    Not sure about the Tosh factory reset. The Netbook I have (not a Tosh) has options in its factory recovery, one if a re-format and start again full recovery, and one attempts to recover the system files and leaves your data. Can you ask Tosh, or is there a user guide for it?

    If you haven't done so already, back up all/any data you want/need to keep now - just in case.

    Hi thanks for that. I have run SFC/scannow and it didn't show any problems. It will load into Save mode without any problems too.

    I'll download the Windows 7 discs and try that, although it might stretch my practical knowledge a little :-) . The Laptop is a Toshiba so it came with no media but a separate Recovery Partition. The only problem with using that is that it seems to want to format the hard drive which means having to reinstall everything again which I'm trying to avoid.

    That post you included was interesting. This seems to be a common problem with these drivers not loading. However, I haven't been able to find anyone who has posted a solution yet.
