I am experiencing random appcrahes in my Windows 7 laptop, I am working the following configuration:
Laptop : Asus K55VM R500V
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit - SP 1 - Build 1130
Problem:
Crashes happen on random times with random applications. So this can be either my Steam Client, Skype, Google Chrome, QQ International Messenger or Windows Explorer. It doesn't matter if I use all of them at the same time or only two or what I am doing
with my laptop. Often when I play heavy videogames (i.e. Far Cry 3) my laptop is fine but simply using my email can cause a crash.
I used the event logger to see what was causing the crash as Windows Solutions only tells me to update my programs (all programs are up to date) and I found out that all crashes are caused by Kernel32.dll & Kernelbase.dll (only for Software from third
parties) and ntdll.dll (Windows Explorer only). Another thing that might be important is that usually all applications fail when one does. For example I am using Skype, I experience a freeze, Windows tells me the program stopped working, when I check my other
programs I see that the rest that I was running also closed.
Error codes from Eventviewer:
The following codes appear in my event viewer, whenever my applications crash I get the same error codes over and over again.

What have I tried so far..
I started searching for answers to my problem and I tried the following:
- Updated all my drivers
- Checked device manager manually for required updates
- I checked my System files in Command prompt
- I made sure all software was updated, including windows of course
- I did a clean install of Windows
- After the problem remained I did Memtest86 v4.2 (just to be safe I let it pass for 35 times)
- Important to know is that since the beginning I bought this laptop (5 months ago) I have been running Norton 360 and I am keeping it updated, so any virus or malware is also out of the question.
I think that would be it, this is really driving me crazy.. I think I have tried almost everything and I am not sure what else to try. The warranty only covers hardware failure and as memtest86 passed, I am not eligible for any software support from my
retailer.
I would really appreciate any support or suggestions, should you require any other information or error logs please let me know.
Thanks in advance!
