With Windows 8 where do I find my documents?

I have files and drawings that are coming to me that once I view them and close I cannot find what used to be "My Documents" on Windows 7.

How do I finds them, or what is that location called now?

    Hi,

    The Taskbar is the blue border at the bottom of the Desktop Screen.... where the clock is.

    You will get the same information on the left side of any folder or drive you open...

    You can also go to C:\Users\Your User Name\Documents, right click on the folder, and create a Shortcut to put anywhere you would like...

    Hi,

    Glad to help... There is another way to do this also.... It's probably the easiest, and I forgot about it...

    If you right click on your Desktop and select PERSONALIZE, you will see "Change Desktop Icons" on the upper left of the window...

    Click on this, and it will allow you to put , Computer, Network, Recycle Bin, Users Files, and Control Panel Shortcuts on your desktop, more like you have probably seen before...

    Hi,

    If you click on the folder icon on the left of the taskbar, it will open a blank window with the "LIBRARIES" on the left...

    You will find a link there to Documents...

    The actual location of the (My) Documents folder is  C:\Users\User Name (yours)\Documents

    I am looking for all the folders, photos and files I entered before I downloaded Windows 10 or Microsoft 10.  I cannot find them.  I went to C;\Users\nancykotowski\Documents and could find nothing.  ******@hotmail.com

    Thank you, for taking the time to assist me. I must not be in the right place I do not have a task bar, to find a folder icon.

    Am bound and determined to make 8 work for me, just get lost or maybe confused .
