hearts card game for windows 7 similar to the one on VISTA

I loved the free Hearts card game on my old Windows VISTA.  My old computer conked out and I now have a new one with Windows 7 -- but no Hearts Card game.  The ones available on the internet are terrible, even the ones that are not free.  Does anyone know how I can get the old VISTA version?

Thanks,

Fred

Just clarify that you are talking about Windows 7 and not Windows 8 (which has no installed Games).

In Windows 7 try this location, you should have Hearts installed already.

See C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Hearts\Hearts.exe, or try the search box and type either Games, or Hearts in it.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-au/windows/where-games#1TC=windows-7

    To turn on Windows Games

    1. Click the Start button , click Control Panel, click Programs, and then under Programs and Features, click Turn Windows features on or off.
    2. Select the Games check box, and then click OK.
    • It's a premium game. Some games, such as Chess Titans or Internet Checkers, are available only in some editions of Windows.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear about my question, but thanks for responding and trying to help me.

Yes, I have Windows 7, and yes, I know a hearts program was originally installed with the operating system.  It is the same program that's available on the internet.  It's the hearts game by Silvercreek entertainment and called "Hardwood Hearts" and is the same as the free version that's available but which also has upgrades available for a price.  I think the graphics are horrible and extremely annoying and have deleted it.

What I would really like to have is the hearts game that came with the VISTA operating system on my old computer.  It is heads and shoulders superior to the Hardwood version.

See the paragraph, "Restoring Desktop Solitaire, Minesweeper, and Other Classic Games".

What Happened to Solitaire and Minesweeper in Windows 8?

The Windows 7 location is here -

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Hearts

Software engineering may well be against any Windows 8 Licensing or EULA controls.
