Silverlight.msi file missing?

Anonymous

O.k, for the 900th time!

I barely know how to use my computer, so any answer in PLAIN ENGLISH would be just fine.

I'm trying to install Silverlight, but the "silverlight.msi" file cannot be found on hard drive.

This is my 4th try...and I mean MAJOR effort, hours and hours.

So where is this file?

If I need to install visual basic blah blah blah just say so.

Thanks,

Charlinhos

    Solution:

I ran Revo Uninstaller Pro, and cleaned out a gazillion items in the registry left over from the unistall.

    Then, Siverlight installed perfectly.

Thanks, but the above solutions still result in Silverlight failure.

Completed the .cmd routine and Run As Administrator 2 times

On Download of 5th version of Version 5, Vista cannot find ANY, that's ANY SILVERLIGHT FILES THAT HAVE BEEN DOWNLOADED.

How's that?  I've download 5 versions of VERSION 5 of Silverlight and

Microsoft cannot find one of them...

That's a new one on me.
