in Windows 7 pro 64, how can I create an ISO file or an exact image of a dvd?

    Try using Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool and WinToFlash for create Windows 7 USB bootable.

    You perhaps use the inbuilt windows backup to create a system image, or one of the many third party utilities, eg Acronis TI

     

    And if a new PC with preinstalled win, you create the recovery disks as per that PC makers instructions

     

    PS Copying files, as per your other post, wont work (or result in a useable cd)

    I am not asking how to create a system image.  As my message said I want to create a iso file or image of a dvd. I have acronis TI.  That doesn't have a procedure for creating an image of a dvd.  I am not talking about recovery disks.

    Look for ISORecorder from Alex Feinman, adds itself to the context menu and very simple to use.
