My outlook express on my old computer and my windows live mail, and mozilla on my new Windows 7 computer will not send email. I have tried everything, even brought the new computer to be scanned for 3 days. Had several different computer people try different things. Nothing has worked yet . I am receiving emails fine, just won't send. Tried different ports and settings on both computers that are blocked. Can anyone help?

This is what it reads when I try to send

The connection to the server has failed.

I checked all those things and all is set right. I have been in touch with my prtovider and they can send from there computer but I can't send from mine.

this is what comes up when I try to send email from Windows Live mail, Mozilla from my Windows 7 or Outlook express from my windows XP which is on another computer that I use:

The connection to the server has failed.

Do you have any ideas? It seems like it's just something minor that is

    blocking both computers.

I need this to be fixed, I have been working on it for 10 days and I can't run my business properly because of it.

Windows live mail doesn't have tools bar that I can see.

I can go into properties, outoging in advanced and the outgoing # is 25.

I have tried 587 neither of them work.

I'm not sure if that's what you looking for

Click Tools>Account Settings.  Select your account, click Change>More Settings.  Select the Outgoing Server tab.  What values are specified there?

Are you properly authenticating to the outgoing server?
