    Hi,

    ·         Did you try un-plugging and re-plugging the printer connection cable and check if it works?

    ·         Did you try all the steps provided in Method 1?

If you are able to print through Wireless connection then I would suggest you to recheck the printer connection cable, also try different connection cable and check if it helps.

    Follow these steps:

    Step 1:

Run the Hardware and device troubleshooter and check if it helps:

Open the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter - Windows - Microsoft

    Step 2:

    Run the printer troubleshooter:

Open the Printer troubleshooter - Windows - Microsoft

    Hi

    Thanks for the reply

It's so frustrating as we can print from a laptop wirelessly (32-bit) and it prints..

I've run the problem help windows and it says that everything is fine..

We have tried calling Canon 5 times now and are on to them again this morning..NOT HELPING us at all..

    Regards

    Louise
