Thank you so much for sharing your solution! My problem was that i downloaded in less than 1 Mbit/s and uploaded around 15 Mbit/s. Then I changed to TKIP just like you said and now I get around 21 Mbit/s downloading and 19 Mbit/s uploading. All this on a MacBook 5,1 :)
Slow WiFi with Broadcom 4322
After upgrading my HP DV7 laptop with Windows 8, I found that my wireless connection was extremely slow. My adapter is a Broadcom 4322AG. This appeared to be the same problem as was in the forum
Slow WiFi with Broadcom 4322 and Windows 8 CP.
Following the advice in that forum, I changed the security from AES to TKIP and everything seems to work fine.

2013-06-06T19:25:35+00:00 That was not the way I solved my problem with Windows 8 running a super slow internet connection.
I downloaded the Windows 7 drivers for my Broadcom 4322ag wireless adapter. Then I opened the Device Manager & uninstalled my wireless adapter (checked the box to remove software). Then I right clicked the setup.exe file & set it to run in Windows 7 compatible mode & arn as administrator. Then reinstalled my driver. Worked perfect.
If you are running Windows Pro or Enterprise you could also open gpedit.msc (at desktop use Win key + R & enter gpedit.msc) expand Administrative Templates...Network...QoS Packet Scheduler & double click on Limit reservable bandwidth. Select Enable, change bandwidth limit (%) from 80 to 0 (zero) & Ok that.
You should have great internet connection speed now.

Hope this helps solve your problem.

2012-11-06T13:33:03+00:00 This does not work if you are using 802.11N network connection since TKIP does not exist on that. :(
